Kevin C. Dooley was formerly a repeat offender and heroin addict. After achieving academic success in his chosen field he works with offenders, the homeless and those affected by addiction. For employees who work with this type of client Kevin is the optimum consultant.

He has developed and delivered lectures and workshops in residential rehabs, has been a consultant on Avon & Somerset Constabulary’s Restorative Justice Program, and has worked in all aspects of Criminal Justice Drug & Alcohol work.

As a media consultant on addiction Kevin has appeared on BBC’s News at Ten, Channel 5’s series Autopsy’ , guested on European and Spanish radio, and featured in The Independent Newspaper, Daily Record, Sunday Mail, Answers from Big Issue, InoMag, Flack Magazine, The Chase Magazine…

As a motivational speaker he has been invited to share his experience with Cambridge University’s Wilberforce Society, Lottery Funded Fulfilling Lives project in Islington & Camden (FLIC),  The Crisis Homeless Charity, Colleges and Prisons.

Realworld Recovery has been developed by Kevin with the goal of  increasing sustainable recoveries among people affected by addiction, homelessness and offending.

This is achieved through client programmes and staff training.
